Traveling to Amsterdam to study typography and website design
This fall, we explored design, typography and conceptual thinking in Amsterdam. It was a chance to revive and be inspired. We visited a typesetting studio, saw the modern wing of the Rijksmuseum Museum as well as the Moco. The Rijksmuseum’s modern space displayed posters that featured Frank Lloyd Wright—showing his cross-continent influence.
Of course design is everywhere, and we saw many posters, art, typography and more displayed publicly throughout the city. It was too short, but a great study of the past and future of design.
