This website, created for the Korean American Spine Society (KASS), is focused on the user experience. Responsive, and easy to navigate on smart phones, it is a huge step forward from the previous static site. Eye-catching graphics related to the organization’s annual meeting start the homepage with relevant content. While this event is the primary focus of the website’s homepage, we didn’t make it too tall, allowing for other important content to be accessed quickly.

We have included the leadership, videos and various call-to-action buttons throughout the page. There are various opportunities for users to join the organization, which is always a good goal. We’ve created other features new to this site, such as a way to display and organize videos, an enews sign-up form, an updated CME online evaluation with PDF certificate generation for continuing medical education credit, and more. Visually, we have added contrasting graphics and animation throughout the site to help guide the user through and highlight important information. It has an approachable, interactive appeal.
